The fight for freedom against British rule brought America into a new, prosperous century on independence. Not only did this revolution create a new, strong nation, it also helped influenced political ideas and revolutions all across the globe, as a new, largely disconnected nation won its freedom from the strongest military force of that time period. A war was raged—one that helped to shape the nation. The American Revolution brought upon great change to the world; there wouldn’t have been a French revolution if not for the American Revolution. The French revolution in turn helped encourage the European revolution movements. It created a chain reaction of self-determination for liberty and rights, and it brought the creation of unalienable rights in replacement of the few rights that were chosen by the monarchs. Overall, this revolution brought the world into a new era of prosperity and individuality to the country of America.
